The Importance of Cryotherapy
After a surgery, it is important to treat the wound carefully so that it does not cause discomfort or reopen. Cryotherapy can reduce pain and inflammation, making it a valuable treatment for injuries and chronic pain conditions like arthritis. It helps in muscle recovery by reducing muscle soreness and speeding up the healing process after intense exercise. Cold therapy reduces inflammation by constricting blood vessels and decreasing blood flow to the affected area, which minimizes swelling and pain.
One powerful device
The OmniPad features a soft, neoprene outer layer and a thermoplastic polyurethane inner sleeve to hold the removable MPad insert and direct the cold towards the treatment site. The elastic Velcro straps hold the OmniPad firmly in place and provide much needed compression for deep tissue therapy. The OmniPad also allows a universal fit and fits most body areas.
The OmniPad when combined with the MPad is designed to be applied to multiple areas on the body and penetrate deep into muscle tissues to cool the localized area rapidly. The test-proven skin temperature reduction of 15-20ºC within 10 minutes is driven by a highly conductive carbon-based medium inside the MPad, more superior than ice or gel.
Cool many areas
The flexible pad and Velcro bands are specifically designed to achieve
a firm fit and provide deep cooling to many parts of the body.
