1. Product Introduction
The NAJO Lite is a manual plastic emergency stretcher designed to support patients with suspected spinal, hip, pelvic, or lower-limb injuries.
NAJO Lite is Ferno’s lightest manual stretcher, weighing only 14.5 lbs (6.57 kg). It features a central opening in the lower half of the stretcher that allows each leg to be secured individually. Two handholds at the tapered head end provide stable handling and include recessed edges to assist gripping or positioning straps to secure the patient’s head. The plastic stretcher can support loads of up to 154 lbs (69.85 kg) while floating.
NAJO Lite meets OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) recommendations, featuring a one-piece, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic construction. This solid HDPE structure is impermeable to bodily fluids, easy to disinfect, and 100% radiolucent. Although strong, NAJO Lite is extremely lightweight, buoyant, and capable of keeping a patient afloat on water.
